A Beginners Guide to Ignatian Spirituality

Wednesday’s 16th November-21st December 7-8pm
This course is for those who are new to Ignatian spirituality, from any background, wishing to gain an insight into its fundamental principles. Its aim is to introduce participants to Ignatian spirituality, enabling them to get to know a little more, the loving God that dwells within them.

It will look at a number of themes including:
- Ways of praying
- God in all things
- Making choices
There will be a hand out for each session outlining the main points covered and giving any quotes and scripture references used.
About the Facilitators
Cheryl and Kath are lay women for whom Ignatian spirituality has become a way of life. Cheryl is the regional representative for the Ignatian lay movement, CLC, and has been in a group for 5 years. Kath has been a member of a young adult CLC group, also for 5 years. They both recently completed a course in prayer guiding. Cheryl is a school administrator and Kath is a primary teacher.
