This is an opportunity to find out more about how CAFOD works generally a Faith based organisation tackling poverty and injustice through long term development and advocacy and campaigning work, while also responding to emergencies. Along with a more detailed personal account on the work in the shanty towns in Brazil, with the chance to ask questions and discuss how we in the UK might best respond.

Tony Sheen CAFOD Westminster Diocesan Manager has recently returned from visiting CAFOD projects in Brazil. He has met inspiring CAFOD partners who work alongside the poor in vast shanty towns in San Paulo and in this evening he will share their stories.
