Living with Anxiety and Forgiveness and Healing
Helen Costigane SHCJ
21st January 2012
Anxiety saps our strength, morally, spiritually and even physically, and can erode hope and enjoyment of life. It can block our awareness of God's love for us and interfere with our ability to choose the good. However, understanding what anxiety might mean and how it might be triggered is a first step towards understanding the power of God's love, forgiveness and healing. This workshop will consider triggers for anxiety including themes of meaninglessness and guilt, and consider ways towards forgiveness and healing.
There will be talks, small group sharing and general discussion, therefore the ability to discuss and share is helpful, but there is no pressure to do so.
