Prisoners and Ex-Offenders: How can we help?

This workshop to mark the churches annual Prisoners Sunday this year on 20^th November is open to everyone who would like to know more about prisons in general and prison chaplaincy in particular and could lead to the opportunity of volunteering in the support of prisoners or ex-offenders.

 There will be:

• Short talks from people working with prisoners/ex-offenders, personal accounts of how the person’s faith inspires their work and how the work nourishes their faith.

• Awareness raising of the difficulties people encounter upon release

• Time of personal reflection

• Practical information on ways to get involved

•  Time of prayer

The day will be lead by the Chaplaincy Team of HMP Wandsworth.
